The Office of the Local Civil Registrar (LCRO) facilitated a Kasalan ng Bayan sa Hunyo for Twenty-Five (25) couples held at SM City-General Santos. Executive Judge, Hon. Joyce Kho-Mirabueno was the Solemnizing Officer of the 25 couples.
The event was graced with the presence of the newly elected City Vice Mayor, Hon. Rosalita Nuñez. She emphasized that a mutual respect, trust, and the love of God will make a marriage lasts.
The LCRO strictly observed the safety protocols during the entire wedding ceremony while verifying the couple’s names and their sponsors, they were instructed to practice safe physical distancing. The guard on duty required the wearing of face mask and faceshield followed by the thermal scanning for febrile or afebrile guests. Registration tables were situated a meter apart between the LCR staff who double-checked the marriage certificate entries. Seating arrangements of the couples were likewise ensured that a distance is allocated among the couples. Their sponsors were divided into two groups situated at the right and left sides while the couples were seated at the center atrium.
