LCR-GSC BRINGS CIVIL REGISTRATION IN BRGY. OLYMPOG

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (June 17, 2022) - The Local Government Unit (LGU) of General Santos City instituted a Barangayan in Barangay Olympog. According to the Sanguniang Panglungsod of GenSan, the BARANGAYAN provides the constituents of the Barangay and different stakeholders a forum where they can ask directly the City's leadership and heads of the different department of the LGUs solutions/actions to their common problems in the Barangay and problems encountered in dealing with the different heads of department of the LGU.

One of  its participating departments was the Office of the Local Civil Registrar. The office would cater inquiries on any issues about civil registry documents, application on late registration of birth, death, and marriage; as well as request on the petitions, court decrees and legal instruments of  civil registry documents.

The goal of Barangayan is to develop a community that bridges the interstice between the people's expectations and their city's current situations, while also fostering progress and development through a better provision of essential services and good governance.
