LCR-GSC SET TO SERVE WITH BARANGAYAN IN BRGY. BAWING

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (April 20, 2022) --The Local Government Unit (LGU) of General Santos City instituted a Barangayan in Barangay Bawing. According to the Sanguniang Panglungsod of GenSan, the BARANGAYAN is a clear manifestation that indeed the Barangay is considered as the smallest political unit of the LGU in particular and the country in general. In which the different sectors of the LCU would reach out to every barangay to bring the public services to the community.

One of  its participating departments was the Office of the Local Civil Registrar. The office would cater inquiries on any issues about civil registry documents, application on late registration of birth, death, and marriage; as well as request on the petitions, court decrees and legal instruments of  civil registry documents.

The goal of Barangayan is to develop a community that bridges the interstice between the people's expectations and their city's current situations, while also fostering progress and development through a better provision of essential services and good governance.
