LCR-GSC HAILS IN THE 32ND CIVIL REGISTRATION MONTH

CITY OF KORONADAL, SOUTH COTABATO (February 3, 2022) – LCR General Santos City actively participated in this year’s 32nd Civil Registration Month in February with the theme “Improving Civil Registration and Vital Statistics Implementation Strategies through Digital Transformation”. LCR-GSC Section Chief Dexter L. Imperial anchors the team Gensan, with Ms. Maria Christy M. Gallano, joining him during the opening salvo. Civil Registration Month is based on Proclamation 682 declaring the month of February of every year as Civil Registration Month affirmed by former President Corazon C. Aquino on the 28th of January 1991.

This event recognizes the efforts of the officers and staff of all local civil registrar’s in the country in finding means to record the birth, death, or marriage with the official civil registration numbers.  Consequently, with sheer determination Ms. Gallano also won 3^rd place in the quiz bee competition.
