LCR STAKEHOLDERS MEETING WITH FUNERAL HOME OPERATORS, CONDUCTED

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (OCTOBER 2, 2021) – The Local Civil Registrar’s Office of General Santos City successfully completed the meeting with the funeral home operators today at the customer’s waiting area this Saturday morning with the main goal of organizing GSC funeral homes operators as association as the first step to create rapport and openness in dealing with the death certificate matters. They also discussed the accreditation of funeral homes to service expired COVID-19 patients including suspected individuals with illnesses associated with coronavirus infection. “Taripa” for funeral service for expired COVID-19 patients who died in hospital or home including COVID-suspected cases were also discussed. Ms. Nenita F. Ellivera, MPA, spearheaded the LCR-GSC as the department head and City Civil Registrar.
