PSA ANNOUNCES 2020 LCRO AWARD WINNERS

MANILA, Philippines (September 3, 2021) – The Philippines Statistics Authority announces the Official List of Awardees in the 2020 Outstanding Local Civil Registry Offices also known as LCRO Awards 2020. There are six categories, namely:

1. Extra Small Category (less than 500 civil registry documents submitted)
   2. Small Category(500-999 civil registry documents submitted)
   3. Medium Category (1,000-1,999 civil registry documents submitted)
   4. Large Category (2,000 to 2,999 civil registry documents submitted)
   5. Extra Large Category (3,000 to 9,999 civil registry documents submitted)
   6. Super Extra Large Category (10,000 civil registry documents submitted)

According to PSA, “The Selection of Outstanding LCRO Awardees for 2020 shall be rated on activities undertaken during the period January to December 2020 on the basis of the submitted Civil Registry Documents and Narrative Reports to the PSA-Provincial Offices and Civil Registration Service.”

The 2020 Outstanding LCRO for the Super Extra Large Category goes to General Santos City. For the Extra Large Category, the award is given to the City of Alaminos in Pangasinan. The medium and large categories are given to the City of Canlaon in Negros Oriental, and Baler, Aurora, respectively. While Dinalunga and Casiguran, both in Aurora Province receive the Extra Small and  Small Categories.
