GENERAL SANTOS CITY  (June 18, 2021) – A couple tied the wedding knot today at the City Mayor’s Office against the threat of the deadly coronavirus. Hon. Ronnel C. River, city mayor and solemnizing officer and with the assistance of the Marriage Division of the Local Civil Registrar’s, this city, willingly agreed to perform their duties mandated to them by law.  Charles Elliot’s letter is once against proven with this scenario that “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds”
