BASCROP, KASALAN COMPLETED

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (February 9, 2021) – Nineteen couples participated in the Kasalan Ng Bayan interview conducted by the BASCROP Team of the Local Civil Registrar’s Office on February 9, 2021 at the Prayer Mountain of the RD Ministry, Inc. in Brgy. Tambler, this city. The couples were oriented on the requirement how to acquire marriage license and certificate. The team was spearheaded by Ms. Gresalinda D.Esclamado, Registration Officer II, as Kasalan Team Leader and assisted by Mr. Noli E. Ponteras, Registration Officer II, Ms. Nena C. Dalagan, Registration Officer I, Ms. Fe M. Dimajiva, Administrative Aide IV, and Ms. Lorraine D. Alocada, Administrative Aide V who also acted as photographer on top of assisting the birth and marriage divisions. These personnel perform this field works on top of their assigned office work assignments. Ms. Nenita F. Ellivera, MPA, heads the LCR General Santos as department head. In the afternoon, the same team proceeded to Habitat Community Elementary School to conduct an orientation seminar on the requirement on late registration of birth. Forty sets of parent-guardian applicants joined the interview. The Barangay and School Civil Registration Outreach Program or BASCROP is a continuous activity of the Local Government Unit of General Santos City spearheaded by the Office of the Local Civil Registrar as part of their mandate to provide the documentation on the important even of a person’s life.
