31ST CIVIL REGISTRATION MONTH KICKS OFF IN R-12

CITY OF KORONADAL, SOUTH COTABATO  (February 1, 2021) – LCR General Santos City actively participated in this year’s 31st Civil Registration Month in February with the theme “Strengthening Civil Registration and Vital Statistics’ Digital Information: The Ways to Manage the New Normal”. LCR-GSC department head Ms. Nenita F. Ellivera, MPA anchors the team Gensan, with Ms. Maria Christy M. Gallano, and Alma Manansala Villanueva, joining her during the opening salvo, this city.

Civil Registration Month is based on Proclamation 682 declaring the month of February of every year as Civil Registration Month affirmed by former President Corazon C. Aquino on the 28th of January 1991. This event recognizes the efforts of the officers and staff of all local civil registrar’s in the country in finding means to record the birth, death, or marriage with the official civil registration numbers.
