BASCROP KICKS OFF AT KATANGAWAN

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (January 13, 2021) – The Office of the Local Civil Registrar of General Santos City conducted its first Kasalan Ng Bayan interview today at Brgy. Katangawan at Purok 8-B. Ten couples availed the civil registration services of the office. Likewise LCR staff guided one client on delayed birth registration processes. The marriage, birth and death registration activities are part of the Barangay and School Civil Registration Outreach Program (BASCROP) of the city. This is in line with the United Nation’s “Get Every One in the Picture” which was copied and adopted by the Philippine Statistics Authority and  dubbed as “Get Every Juan in the Picture” which was also used as banner headline of LCR-General Santos website at www.lcrgensantos.wordpress.com. The kasalan activity is spearheaded by Ms. Gresalinda D.Esclamado,  Registration Officer II, as Kasalan Team Leader and assisted by Mr. Noli E. Ponteras, Registration Officer II, Ms. Nena C. Dalagan, Registration Officer I, Ms. Fe M. Dimajiva, Administrative Aide IV, and Ms. Lorraine D.  Alocada, Administrative Aide V who also acted as photographer on top of assisting the marriage division ‘Kasalan Team’.
