SAMA NA, CENSUS NA!

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (July 21, 2020) — The Local Government Unit of General Santos City through the Office of the Local Civil Registrar supports the 2020 Census of Population and Housing spearheaded by the Philippine Statistics Authority. The massive house to house visits will kick off on September 1, 2020 as planned with 100,000 enumerators across the country. LGU-GSC and all its departments particularly the Local Civil Registrar are asking the people of this city to actively participate in this endeavor.

The data generated from this census will be beneficial to the government executives, policy-makers, planners, research and academic institutions as basis for the social and economic and development plans, policies and programs of the country and as well as in this city.
