LCR-GSC JOINS PSA-SPONSORED CITY CENSUS

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (July 16, 2020) — The Office of the Local Civil Registrar actively participated in the City Census Coordinating Board Meeting last July 16 2020 at the PSA Conference Room, 2nd Floor,  YOMON Building I, Santiago Boulevard, this city. The census is a project of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) as directed by President Rodrigo R. Duterte to tap all local government units in fast-tracking the results in 30 days. It will start on September 1, 2020 and hopefully completed in a month’s time. LGU General Santos City committed to assist in the massive information campaign through radio and television broadcast and posting of tarpaulins in strategic locations in the city. Ms. Dancelyn Villote represented the LCR General Santos.
