MARRIAGE LICENSE APPLICATION RESUMES

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (MAY 25, 2020) – Ms. Jennifer Gabayeron, Marriage Division Chief, informs the LCR staff and its customers that effective today couples aged 26 and above who intend to apply for a marriage license can now attend the Pre-Marriage Counseling (PMC) seminar at the City Population Management Office.

Meanwhile, couples aged 25 and below who plan to attend the seminar are advised to wait until further notice as the signatories from CSWDO are currently not available. They are involved in the distribution of financial support in line social amelioration program (SAP) of the national government and other tasks related to COVID-19 pandemic scare.

PMC seminar is one of the requirements to apply for the license.
