CALL OF DUTY

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (May 8, 2020) – Some LCR employees with Salary Grades 7  to 15 were required to report to specific barangays of General Santos City last night to render additional public service in line with the distribution of Social Amelioration Program’s cash assistance to qualified beneficiaries pursuant to DSWD’s Memorandum Circular No. 4 S.2020.

In order to fast-track the process, the City Social Works and Development Office and the City Treasurer’s Office joined forces with all departments of the Local Government Unit in an effort to serve the beneficiaries in this COVID-19 pandemic crisis.

With the new normal, employees who were working on a day-time skeletal schedule, were required to report even at night for the SAP distribution as the “Call of Duty” requires.
